• 8 August.. only 25 papers are selected for inclusion in the technical program and the conference proceedings which wiill be published in the IEEE Xplore. Therefore, there will be no parallel sessions. The duration of presentation is 20 minutes. We will upload the latest schedule soon.

• 8 August.. Good News for authors. Apart from Intelligent Data Analysis journal, more DMO2012 authors will be invited for enhancing their papers for inclusion in a new indexed journal by SCOPUS, to be published by International Center for Scientific Research and Studies and to be released by March  2013. The number of selected paper is depending on number of quality paper selected by a special committee. The journal is the International Journal of Advances in Soft Computing and Its Application. ISSN 20748523.

• 7 August IEEE Malaysia Sectiopn Chair, Prof. Dr. Mahamood Ismail has confirmed that he will attend DMO2012 together with IEEE Computer Society Malaysia Chapter Chair, Mr Rawidean.

  TAKE NOTE:Rooms are available at the Bayview Hotel Langkawi  starting at RM 190.00 a night (Single Hill View) in single occupancy and RM210 in double occupancy. September is one of the busiest month in Langkawi with many tourist and participant to the conference must make reservation as soon as possible. • 21 June, Accepted Papers: List of accepted papers available. Click HERE. Please note that the reservations for hotel have to be made by August 8 2012. After August 8, the reserved rooms for participants at the Bayview Hotel will be released.

• 20 May, Late Notification of Acceptance: With deep apologies, the notification of acceptance date has been delayed for some papers due to unforeseen circumstances. The TPC has begun sending the reviewers reports and results from 1st of June and the remaining 'uninformed authors' will receive the notification of results from the DMO2012 TPC in due course. All the inquiries to DMO2012 committee are important to us. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause.

• 20 May, TPC: The TPC list is not up to date. The TPC Chairs have invited more international reviewers. The Webmaster will update the list of TPC ASAP.

• 20 May, Number of Papers: We received more than 40 papers and majority are from Malaysian academician and researchers. Request for submission still pouring in and the TPC chairs will decide.

• 19 May, The Review Process Started: The review process has started. We are waiting for the reviewer to return their report.

• 16 May, Workshop on Best Practices in Reporting Results: A workshop has been scheduled on the 4th September 2012. The workshop title is "Best Practices in Reporting Result" which will be delivered by Masri Ayub and Nasser R. Sabar. Both of them have vast experience in publishing journal articles. Both have succeeded in publishing in Q1 ISI indexed journal such as IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation and European Journal on Operational Research. More information about the workshop will be published in this website.

• 12 May, Intelligent Data Analysis: Selected authors will receive an invitation for submitting an extended version to be published in the "An International Journal of Intelligent Data Analysis" . This journal is published by IOS Press with an Impact Factor of 0.4 (ISI Indexed).  Only papers that will be submitted in an extended form and clearly presenting an enhanced version will be considered. Reference to the original paper published in a conference is mandatory. A new review round will be performed, under the control of the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board.
